We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley McKinney and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’m a two time felon and I was having hard time finding a job. So I could provide for my family. But as a child I always wanted to own my own business. Generational wealth

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m most excited that I continue to work for myself through ups and downs. That I never gave up when the business was slow. I have a lot of experience in customer service, data entry. My late grandmother taught me how to clean. I started out with 40 and a business name. And I went for it. Scared man can’t make no money. It wasn’t easy having to learn a lot on your own. When I reached out to make sure my t was crossed and I was dotted. No help but I’m here now.

Never give up no matter who isn’t in your corner. And a stranger would be more supportive then some family members. Keep your head up and eyes on the prize
