We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrew Imlay and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrew, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I first saw Chris Fonseca in 2005 and decided that I wanted to pursue stand up comedy.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
as a person with a disability I feel like I have a unique voice. My comedic ability gives a positive perspective on how people view people with disabilities. Kind of a voice for the voiceless since some people who have cerebral palsy are non verbal.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Definitely High Score Saloon for a few nights for some old arcade games and pinball. Then head over to Holiday World for some amusement park fun

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Chris Fonseca has been a huge influence and inspiration on my journey with stand up comedy
