We had the good fortune of connecting with Amy/ Ashley Nunley/ Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amy/ Ashley, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
We both have always had a desire to be creative. We were always painting, re finishing furniture, or just doing random crafts. In February of 2019, Amy had a pulmonary embolism a few weeks after having her second child, and was struggling with PTSD and severe anxiety. She mentioned wanting to start making jewelry as a means of therapy. Something she could completely pour herself into. We decided to try out clay, and we quickly fell in love with the medium. We both struggled with infertility, so we knew we wanted to do something for people walking a similar journey as we had. So we started Finelle & Co.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We pride ourselves on being a little bit quirky. We try to accommodate to all styles and walks of life. From the girly girl to the horror loving rocker. We think our versatility is what helps us stand out. Plus, the main part of our business is giving back. We are blessed to have been able to help 2 couples and we look forward to helping many more.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We like to venture out and visit less popular places. For example, little country restaurants like Millers Cafe in Christiana, TN. Then we could go shopping in Bell Buckle and treat ourselves to a slice of pie at the Bell Buckle Cafe. For a day of fun, we would go on a hike at Burgess Falls in Baxter, TN.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
That’s easy! Amy’s spouse, Joe. And Ashley’s late spouse, Chris. They are our biggest cheerleaders. Joe spends his free time helping us work our events, building displays, and doing our taxes. Chris was a huge influence on having a cause behind our business. He was the first one to hype us up when we were overwhelmed. Everyone loved talking to him at our events. He never met a stranger. Joe and Chris will always be our biggest supporters!
