We had the good fortune of connecting with Ainsley Brock and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ainsley, is there something you believe many others might not?
I think having to niche down is the worst advice you could be given. When you force yourself into a box, you walk away from so much potential. If you’re only willing to operate in your 100 square ft niche, you’ll regret the 16000 square ft mansion of opportunity.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a creator who showcases every day moments of my life. The only thing that sets me apart is that I am me. I am authentically Ainsley and you can’t copy that. I am so proud of the dedication, hard-work, and success I’ve managed to accomplish. I got here by showing up, being faithful, and holding onto the dream that I AM capable. It hasn’t been easy. I’ve cried. I’ve given up. I’ve felt like the world’s biggest failure and imposter. But I get back up and I keep fighting for my future. I’ve learned to let go of numbers and focus on influence.
I want the world to know I’m a stay at home mom of 2, a student, a hairstylist, a caregiver, a homemaker, and a hot mess. So if I can do it, so can you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Georgia. Not quite Atlanta, but not far either. If a friend comes, we would visit the Fox Theatre (my favorite spot), the Vortex, and the Aquarium. I love penguins! We could visit the World of Coke if we have the time. I’m a big introvert, so I can only handle so many outings! Can we go thrifting and walk around TJMaxx instead?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout my mom. She’s supported my dreams of gaining influence on the internet for years. She always lets me bounce ideas off of her and she gives great feedback. She’s interactive and proud of the work I create. She never fails to cheer me on.
