We had the good fortune of connecting with Kayla Allen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I feel like the main thing that sets me apart from others is the fact that I leave my supporters on a cliff hanger . For example it’s like waiting for your favorite show to come back on ! So every time I post there just surprised and excited.

One thing most people don’t know , is that I am a self taught photographer. I took a beginner & advanced photography class in high school and they really didn’t help teach . I had to teach myself Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom which was a fun experience. It was some hard times , but its all a learning process with everything.

I learned that you can never stop learning. You can always learn new things. I also learned that it’s okay to reach out to other photographers for help , most will have no problem helping .

I want the work to new and understand my originality of my work. I want everyone to be able to know my work automatically when they see it.
