Meet The Fabled Crew | 85+ Rescue Animals. Once Homeless. Now Influencers.

We had the good fortune of connecting with The Fabled Crew and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi The Fabled Crew, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind our success has been staying true to our voice, our mission, and our community. From the beginning, we’ve focused on sharing real stories that show the heart, humor, and hard work behind rescue life. That kind of authenticity builds trust with our supporters and followers.
We’re proud to collaborate with companies that share our values, and we only promote products we genuinely use with our animals or around the farm. By featuring those products in everyday moments—whether it’s a goat wearing a healing salve, a hen snacking on her favorite treats, or a foster kitten testing a new toy—we’re able to tell stories that are relatable, joyful, and real. Those partnerships allow us to help fund rescue work while helping ethical brands grow, and it all works because the connection is honest.
Consistency, creativity, and a deep sense of purpose have helped us build something lasting. We’ve learned that when you lead with heart, people show up—and that’s where the magic happens.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The Fabled Crew was born from the intersection of rescue, storytelling, and fundraising. We believe every creature has a story worth telling, and we use photography, design, humor, and branding to reframe how people see these animals. We show them as they truly are—goofy, beautiful, mischievous, resilient—and we invite people to care about them not just as causes, but as characters.
The road here has been anything but easy. Rescue is often heartbreaking, underfunded, and exhausting. Our brand isn’t polished perfection—it’s real life, with muddy paws, playful kittens, and chickens that get into everything. We’ve learned that honesty resonates, and that building something meaningful takes time, heart, and a lot of help from your animals.
One of the most exciting evolutions of our work has been using our platform to promote small businesses and mission-aligned brands through authentic, rescue-centered storytelling. Rather than creating polished ads, we let our animals be themselves—wearing the gear, sampling the treats, playing with the products—and that honesty builds trust. People know we don’t recommend anything we wouldn’t actually use. It’s not about pushing product—it’s about creating partnerships that help us fund rescue work, support ethical brands, and stay true to our mission. That’s the magic of it all: finding creative ways to turn compassion into connection, and connection into impact.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We’d start our mornings with volunteer work at Fabled Farm Rescue & Sanctuary, helping feed the animals and soaking in the peace of early sunlight over the hills. After that, we’d head to Itty Bitty Donuts in Nolensville for some locally famous mini donuts and coffee. Afternoons would be perfect for antique shopping at the quirky small-town spots scattered throughout Middle Tennessee or visiting local distilleries for a tour. One evening, we’d make a trip to Bell Buckle Café for some down-home comfort food. Another night we would visit our favorite hangout, Common John, in Manchester for the amazing atmosphere, food, and craft beer. During hockey season, a trip into Nashville for a Predators game is a must. After fun filled days, we’d head back to the farm for a late-night snack of s’mores around the fire pit, under the stars, with rescue animals nearby. It’s not just a visit to Tennessee, it’s an experience.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There’s no way we could do what we do without our community. First and foremost, our shoutout goes to the people who adopt, donate, share our content, and cheer us on. We’re also incredibly grateful for small businesses that have stepped up to support the animals in such meaningful ways. Brands like Itty Bitty Donuts, Curicyn, Grubbly Farms, and Brooks & Roo have believed in our mission and helped us bridge the gap between commerce and compassion. They’ve shown that doing good can also look and taste good too!
