We had the good fortune of connecting with Erica Marble and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Erica, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I love helping people and I wanted to be able to help people with hair loss issues whether it was medication, illness, genetic, whatever the reason maybe to look and feel their best at a reasonable cost and feel like they were not just another number. That they truly found someone that cared. Clients with hair loss issues shouldn’t have to pay a fortune just to get their confidence back and feel better about what they see in the mirror

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I doing hair in 2008, tried cosmetology instructor, wasn’t the fit for me so in 201o I went on an interview that changed my life and has helped me where I got today. I started at a company for hair loss issues. I worked there for about 10 years. When they went corporate, I found that it was more about the money than the clients. I see people have to work 2 jobs, take second mortgages out just to afford hair or a solution to get their hair back. So in 2019 I left the company and started doing regular hair and I knew that’s not what my passion was so I went back into the hair loss industry. It wasn’t easy at all!! Trying to find places to get hair from all the products and to start my business from scratch and still pay my bills. To top things off Covid happened so I was still trying to build a business during the craziness.
I have had to learn that you can’t be scared to put yourself out there and constantly promote your self. You feel like people get tired of seeing or hearing about you but you find out that’s it’s not the case! A lot of people have hair loss and have no clue what their solution are, or that there are solutions.
What sets me apart is that I not only do this for an affordable cost for clients but i will also sit down and help them look at other sites to find wigs. No one should have to pay a fortune to have their confidence back. If it means just a little of my time to find a wigs, topper, clip in extensions and I just cut it the hair to make it all look natural and they are happy than that’s what it’s all about. Seeing a client lit up when you give they something back they didn’t think was possible is what makes it all worth it! I don’t want grow my business to be franchises out, I just want to help clients get something back they lost and feel as great as they once did

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
You have to go to downtown columbia! They have built up so much that you can walk around the the shops, go into Ted’s sporting goods and have to get a t shirt, and eat at several of the cute little restaurants. Also check out the arts district here in columbia they have cute little shops and an Italian bakery that’s tucked away. I like being outdoors so kayaking or boating on the duck river would be a few of the fun things

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
