Meet Natalie Hollis Clem | FNP| Nurse Injector

We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalie Hollis Clem and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalie, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
To be honest, when I started it, it was only meant to be a part time thing. I work at a local OBGYN practice part time and this was something I wanted to do 1-2 days a week because I enjoyed it and I loved the client base that I had grown in the past 3-4 years where I previously worked. Well it quickly blossomed into a 3-4 day a week thing and is growing by leaps and bounds to a full time gig!
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Collective Salon & Spa was created with the client in mind. It is a med spa that specializes in enhancing your natural features through injectable services such as botox and dermal fillers in addition to skin health treatments and medical grade skin care.
What sets the business apart is our personalized approach and commitment to delivering evidence-based confidence boosting results in a serene and welcoming atmosphere.
I am most proud of the relationships I have built with my clients and the trust that they place in me to help them look and feel their best. Getting here wasn’t easy-I balanced this jounrey while working as a FNP in a local OBGYN practice, where I also gained invaluable skills in precision, empathy, and care. Challenges like building a business from the ground up taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of continually refining my craft.
Lessons learned? Always always always invest in education-I am board certified as a family nurse practitioner and continually train to stay ahead in the aesthetics field as it changes daily and I want to bring the best to my clients. I want the word to know that my business isn’t just about beauty; it’s about empowering individuals to feel comfortable in their own skin and celebrate their uniqueness. Because at the heart of it all, we are all beautiful and deserve to feel like the best version of ourselves every single day
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some of my favorite flavors of the area consist of Walnut Hill or CJ’s Coffee Barn for coffee and/or breakfast. Lunch would be Lupitas or Piezan Pizzeria. Dinner is a hands down no brainer at Filo’s Tavern downtown. But if you’re willing to take a little drive, High Point is also a must! In the summer it is also a MUST to stop at Mot’s Shaved Ice.
I would have to say one day would be dedicated to renting an Air B&B and getting lunch catered from Mom & Me catering and setting up massages with Mountain Mobile Massage for the day.
Another day would consist of hiking in Sewanee to the cross. The sites from their are absolutely breathtaking. Being as this is a “week long trip” I would also venture off to Chattanooga, Huntsville, or Nashville. Tennessee is such a beautiful state and it has endless things to see and do no matter the time of year!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I cannot narrow this down to one person. I have been blessed with an AMAZING client base who have became friends over the years and who have cheered me on the whole way. They are the real reason I do what I do and the reason this business has morphed into what it has. And for their love and support I am forever grateful. It wouldn’t be what it is without them.
