Hi Prana Kishore, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
The Recording Academy Grammys invited Prana Kishore to become their Voting Member because of the difficult decisions made by him in his life and for his distinguished contribution to music.
Life and Time are like twins, but one needs to make the right decision at the right time, keeping away the distractions that life throws at you, to make your life beautiful. Time, on the other hand, gives you the impression that you have plenty of time to do what you want when you want at any stage of your life. This is not true, but you realize it only after a few mistakes in your life. Music, which started as a hobby blessed Prana Kishore to become a professional in giving 600 concerts. At the same time, he began rising in his marketing and brand management career after his master’s degree in engineering and management. He was earning equally in music and career but when he became General Manager, he was at a crossroads forcing him to choose between music or career. After much thought and with little sorrow he left the music field to continue his executive career, moved from India to Cyprus in Europe, and a few years later relocated with his family to the USA. After 12 years he went back to the studio to slowly restart his gift in music, but the music industry changed completely from analog recording to digital recording from cassettes, and CDs to music streaming. He spent days and nights learning music recording software, and music distribution and launched his first mega album in 2012 as a Singer, Song Writer, Music Composer, and Music Producer and released over 90 albums worldwide through his own Prana Kishore Records and never looked back. He learned when to leave and when to come back to music to balance Career, Family, and Music, and now he is a full-time professional artist based in Nashville, TN, USA

This is the story of Prana Kishore/Prana Kishore Bommireddipalli Indian American from Nashville, USA, from learning an instrument from a blind Teacher to Singer, Song Writer, Music Composer, and Music Producer,600 Shows,90 Albums in 12 years, in 9 Languages Released Worldwide through his own Prana Kishore Records in collaboration with Apple, Amazon, Spotify, and every top music Streaming distributor in every country. He also plays 10 Instruments, sings his own Chorus in 5 different Voices, is a Graphic Designer who designs his album covers, and even learned Music Recording Software, Logic Pro and Protools, and does his Marketing and Press Releases with a master’s degree in engineering, Management with Marketing Brand Management Experience. The biggest shout-out will be to The Recording Academy Grammys for recognizing Prana Kishore Bommireddipalli and inviting him to become a voting member due to his extensive work as a Singer, Song Writer, Music Composer, and Music Producer. Grammys are not just about nominations and awards. Musicare is a division that does a lot of work helping Grammy artists with their problems. Grammy Museum does amazing work preserving our rich history in music for the next generations to know who the greatest singers were, composers, instrument players, and why they worked so hard in creating masterpieces with facilities they did not have at that time.
He is grateful to his father for initiating him into playing the Indian instrument Tabla and his mother for waking him up every day at 4.30 am to practice Tabla to be ready when the teacher comes home to teach at 6 am.
He is forever indebted to his Tabla Teacher late Sri Shatrugnya from Visakhapatnam, India who was blind which means all the notations must be remembered and to continue to remember he must practice more and more. This made him very strong in rhythm and helped him to play rhythm instruments
He is thankful to Madras School of Blind in India for allowing him to teach Tabla, and Voice Lessons to blind students there in memory of his blind Teacher
Last but not least he is grateful for the support from his college sweetheart and wife Rathi Kishore and his family which includes two miniature poodles Bella and Axon who give the final approval for all Prana Kishore Songs for quality, and they use their puppy faces to bring in more followers for Prana Kishore
