Meet Taylor & Taylor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor & Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Taylor & Taylor, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk-taking is an important part of running a small business, and we’ve come to see it as essential for growth and change. When we started this business, one of the first big risks was investing in all the supplies we will need to make the letters. It was a significant financial decision, but it helped us stand out from the competition and attract a devoted customer base.
Every decision, from investing in add ons, to promoting our letters in particular events, involves some level of risk. While not all risks pay off, they each teach us valuable lessons that help refine our strategies and improve our future decisions.
What should our readers know about your business?
What sets us apart is our marquee letters are three times larger than the others, creating a unique impact. Our success is due to the guidance, encouragement, and genuine passion we’ve had along the way. The journey was challenging, taking two years of handcrafting the letters, but our drive and determination kept us going. The biggest lesson we learned is to not sweat the small stuff and keep pushing forward. We are a couple who love Jesus and aim to make the world brighter, literally and figuratively.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Tennessee’s packed with fun! We’d start at Opry Mills and Opryland Resort & Convention Center for an awesome day out. Then, it’s Hattie B’s on Broadway for some famous eats and exploring the area. Next up, we’d soak in history at Cheekwood and grab a tasty, healthy bowl at Core Life Eatery. And for our nature fix, Fall Creek Falls awaits with its breathtaking summer waterfall hike to end the week!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We’d like to give all the credit to Jesus Christ. He’s our story and has given us this business so we shine glory in his name.
