We had the good fortune of connecting with Miss Audrey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Miss, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I want to be remembered as a great songwriter who put a lot of thought and personal feelings and past experiences into her songs. I have a story behind each song I write and I get so giddy every time someone asks me the meaning behind it because I’m a story teller through and through.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve been writing songs since I was 13 and to look back at all I’ve accomplished I’m really proud to be where I am at. Now that I’m almost 26, married with 3 kids, life has definitely been different since my time being single and constantly being able to work on music. Even though I do have a very full life at home I’m finally at the point where I’m ready to get back into the swing of things and release some new music this year!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Arrington Vineyards is always a must. A few of my go to restaurants are Burger Up and Mas Tacos. For coffee it’s either Crema or Barista Parlor (which I used to work at)
And for drinks and a fun night out it’s always Santa’s Pub

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have two people in my life that I feel have always supported me and built me up. They have been there for every photoshoot, video shoot, concert etc and I honestly could not have done it with out them and that’s my mom (Jessica Hilliard) and my sister in law (Chloé Hilliard). They have consistently believed in me and I’m so grateful for them.
