Meet Natasha Clay – Hill | CEO of Production Company & Playwright/Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Natasha Clay – Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natasha, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I chose to pursue an artistic creative career because it can be fulfilling for several reasons. It allows me the opportunity to contribute to the diversity of human expression. Through self expression I can express my emotions, perspectives and ideas. I can produce creative work that has the potential to influence, inspire and provoke thought. Creatives can contribute to social change and cultural evolution through their creations. We also experience a connection with others due to “art” having the ability to connect people on a heartfelt level. Creatives can build communities, share experiences, and create a sense of belong. While pursuing an artistic creative career may come with challenges, the potential for impact, personal satisfaction, and the joy of creating can make it extremely rewarding choice for those passionate about the arts.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a Christian playwright who enjoys writing plays with thought provoking messages and content inspired by Christian beliefs, values and teachings. I am blessed to be able to create a variety of dramatic works, including biblical dramas, modern allegories and contemporary stories that incorporate Christian principles. I believe the thing that sets me apart from others is my exceptional work ethic. It is my goal to remain consistent with how we conduct business. We start on time and we finish on time. My current level of professionalism has been achieved through a combination of personal qualities, skills development and professional experiences. One of those qualities is reliability. I have found that consistently delivering high-quality work on time and meeting commitments builds a good reputation for reliability.
It was not hard to reach this level but it did require work on my part. I had to discipline myself to be consistent, keep a good work ethic and always be willing to learn and grow.
One of the lessons I have learned along the way is striving for a commitment to excellence in all you do, setting high standards, and continuously improving your skills contributes to growth in professionalism. And being open to training regarding leadership skills is key. Whether in a formal leadership role or through informal influence, showcasing leadership qualities contributes to professionalism.
I would love for the world to know that our brand has a commitment to quality. We are dedicated to delivering high quality productions, and delivering a heartfelt, thought provoking, funny and encouraging experience to our customers.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out my mother, Ms Loretha Matthews. She is one of the most genuine supportive people I have been blessed to have in my life. Having a supportive mother holds significant influence in various aspects of my life. My mother’s support contributes to my emotional well being and emotional stability. Her encouragement and positive reinforcement has strengthened my sense of self-worth and confidence. My mother is anointed, kind, spiritual leader, loving and wise woman. Through her life style and service she has instilled values of empathy and compassion for others, promoting kindness and understanding. I am in part the woman that I am today because of my rock, my heart, aka my mom.
