We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Frazier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justin, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My initial thought was that I wanted to pursue something that I was passionate about.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’d say that being a pop-up record shop allows me to have higher standard for quality control with my used albums. I’m able to spend my days before an event cleaning each album and play testing them to ensure that each used album will give the listener years of musical joy.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d take them to the Stones River Battlefield for a history lesson and nature therapy. I’m not really into “nightlife” or clubs. Nature is my medicine outside of music.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a shout-out to my wife Megan. She’s been very supportive of this obsession since the beginning. It helps to have people around you that believe in what you’re doing.
