Hi Jared, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my own business was a culmination of various experiences, observations, and a deep-rooted desire to make a difference. Initially, my journey into the world of social media began quite organically. I was a musician with a flourishing social media presence, and it was evident that I had a knack for it when a friend approached me to manage his accounts. The technology was still in its infancy, and not many had mastered the art of leveraging it effectively. I saw an opportunity there.

However, the real push came from recognizing a gap in the market. There were countless brilliant small businesses out there with fantastic products and services, but they were struggling to market themselves effectively, especially on social media platforms. I realized that while these businesses were passionate about their craft, they often lacked the expertise or time to navigate the ever-evolving world of digital marketing.

I wanted to bridge that gap. I wanted to be the voice and the digital presence for these businesses, helping them connect with their target audience and grow. The idea of The Jared Dalton Agency was born out of this desire to support and elevate these businesses.

Moreover, my travels across over 10 countries, from Australia to Ireland, gave me a unique perspective on interacting with diverse cultures and understanding the nuances of communication. I wanted to bring this global perspective to the table, ensuring that businesses could resonate with a broad audience.

Starting The Jared Dalton Agency was not just about capitalizing on a business opportunity; it was about making a genuine difference, about helping businesses realize their potential, and about bringing my unique blend of experiences, skills, and perspectives to the world of social media marketing.

The Jared Dalton Agency is more than just a social media marketing firm; it’s a bridge connecting passionate small business owners to their potential audience. What sets us apart is our genuine commitment to understanding the unique stories of these businesses and translating them into compelling digital narratives.

I’m incredibly proud of our growth trajectory. From starting with just one client in the first year to now having served over 125 companies, our journey has been nothing short of transformative. But it wasn’t always smooth sailing. The challenges were numerous and continue to be. From staying updated with the ever-evolving digital landscape to ensuring consistent quality across diverse client needs. But every challenge was an opportunity in disguise, pushing us to innovate, adapt, and grow.

One significant lesson I’ve learned is the importance of resilience. In the world of digital marketing, change is the only constant. Whether it’s algorithm updates or shifting user behaviors, being adaptable and staying ahead of the curve is crucial. Another lesson is the value of genuine relationships. Drive to Gatlinburg and explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Day 5: HBCU Heritage

Explore the rich history and campuses of the HBCUs in Nashville: Tennessee State University, Fisk University, and Meharry Medical College. Walk down Jefferson St., a historic heart of Nashville’s Black community, filled with music, culture, and history.

Day 6: Arts & Music

Discover the artsy side of Nashville in East Nashville with its unique shops and eateries. Experience the intimate setting with live music at one of many places.

Day 7: Nashville Nostalgia

Relax at Centennial Park and visit the Parthenon. Indulge in some last-minute souvenir shopping.
