We had the good fortune of connecting with Allee-Sutton Hethcoat and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Allee-Sutton, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
One of my deepest hopes for my life is to leave a legacy of goodness. I truly feel my purpose in life and in my work is to diminish suffering by fostering a community of love, kindness and light. I hope I will be remembered as someone who accomplished that.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Working as a freelance actor and part time content creator requires unending resilience. Unlike other careers, we get up everyday and have to work unregulated hours to create or find our next opportunity. I am really proud that I have never given up or allowed the frequent rejection we all experience to embitter me or douse my passion. I am obsessed with stories and have been privileged to get to be a part of creating and telling them. I’ve had to learn to love the whole of the unpredictable and challenging lifestyle it takes to be a part of this business and have found great peace and pride in that. I am so excited to continue to grow and have the chance to hopefully tell more stories that uplift, inspire and entertain people.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Having been born and raised in Nashville, my love for this special place runs deep. If my best friend were visiting, I’d want them to get to do the following: -Hike Percy Warner
-Visit the Ryman and the Country Music Hall of Fame
-Spend a day at Cheekwood
-Come out for Sunday lunch at my family’s house.
-Head out to Fairview and eat at The Thompson’s Kitchen
-Go see live music at the Bluebird
-Do a sampling of biscuits, hot chicken, coffee and more from the many excellent Nashville eateries!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to the friends, family and members of my community that make up my support system. Nobody accomplishes anything alone. I am keenly aware of how much I benefit from the love, support and guidance so generously bestowed upon me from you all. All I do, I do to honor everything you’ve all given and sacrificed for me.
