Meet Kylah Currie | CEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kylah Currie and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kylah, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
I always had the mindset of never giving up. As I get older, I always challenge myself to keep going no matter the circumstance. As a human , not even a business owner, giving up in life has no gain. In order to know and be encouraged to keep going you have to look at the light at the end of the tunnel.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
am most proud of doing this while I am in school. This year I will be graduating in May with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. I started this business when I was just a freshman which encouraged me to switch my criminal justice major to business so I could learn more about what I am doing. A lot of trial and error took place while i was getting my business together which is not a bad thing it helped me grow and learn. It wasn’t easy starting this business but it wasn’t hard either with the right help. I believe in any situation there will be challenges and sacrifices but that’s what makes me care so much about it. Keeping my faith and staying consistent has got me recognized and has helped me overcome challenges I faced throughout the years.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When my friends visit Huntsville , I always have a list of places to go try. The first place I would take them to would be Hammerheads or Agave and Rye for drinks and a bite of food. Bridgestreet is always one of the main attractions in Huntsville. They have high-end restaurants as well as everyday eatery, entertainment and shopping. For nightlife I would go to Cru lounge or Sznd ! Both are really good and have themed days and specials. I also like Superhero chefs for brunch. There are also more places like museums , dave and busters , main event.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to recognize my mom and dad for always supporting me regardless of my wild dreams. I also want to shoutout my friends and family who had shared my work and shopped with me. I also want to recognize my school for creating events like The Maroon and White Market which allowed me to sell out of my hottest products.
