We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Aulsondro “Emcee N.I.C.E.” Hamilton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Aulsondro “Emcee N.I.C.E.”, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
For me starting a business takes extreme careful planning, strategic thinking and real due diligence. You can’t be successful if you don’t know how to provide a solution or an alternative to whatever you endeavor. You have to identify your passion, then identify a need and learn all the nuances of it. Learn the competition and know that there is always competition even if it hasn’t been revealed. I’m alway preaching S.W.O.T. (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats. This is truly a bulletproof way of making sure you can be ready for any and all situation involving you, your life, your businesses, deals, etc… It’s nothing like knowing all the answers to the potential questions that will help elevate your business plan. You know the saying, “If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail!” However with S.W.O.T. you have to be completely honest with yourself and about anything you are SWOTing.
