We had the good fortune of connecting with Cory Estreen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cory, what’s your definition for success?
Some people define success as being happy. I personally believe that success is found more in the pursuit of not happiness but rather purpose. That pursuit can bring you on the adventure of your lifetime and that should ultimately define a persons success. Happiness doesn’t go deep enough.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Taylor and I both, aside from our podcast, have rooted ourselves operationally in the corporate world and seem to be the glue that hold businesses together. Taylor as an Office Manager and me as an Operations Manager have the proclivity to run things and have found success.

It wasn’t all sunshine and roses and we have had challenges along the way but with a strong work ethic and stalwart mentality, as a couple, we have each others backs and know we can tackle anything.

Strive Nation Podcast is sort of a mental getaway for us where we can espouse our believes and share positive values with anyone who cares to listen. We appreciate those who have listened for the last couple of years!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We spoil ourselves at the Stillery at the downtown location as I have a soft spot for pizza and flatbread and according to Taylor, they have the best thai chicken salad in the world.

We also really enjoy hanging out, drinking a few brewskis, and playing games in the Gulch’s Pins Mechanical Arcade Bar.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am not the only person involved in this podcast story. My other half and soon to-be wife, Taylor Huff, is one of the most dedicated and thoughtful people I know always present as a sounding board to some of my more provocative thought experiments. Big shout out to her!
