Hi Q MAC, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
A healthy balance! Sometimes, we overload ourselves in work & in our businesses that we forget to take time for ourselves. Even when I have dj events back to back, I make sure to find time for myself. I have to give myself that time to decompress & reset. You cannot help anyone if you are not taking care of yourself.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a DJ located in Mississippi & I offer music entertainment services. I am most proud of my growth & the growth of my business Q MAC PRODUCTIONS & ENT. I got to where I am now by being committed to what it is I wanted to do. Sometimes, we want to turn our habits into a business & then we lose interest in what we said we wanted to do. In order to get to a good place, one has to be committed to what I knew I said I wanted. I’ve learned to balance my time between my business, social life, & work life.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’m very appreciative of all the support I’ve been given over the last few years. I would like to shoutout FLAVA1 Radio & the entire team. It’s been nothing short of amazing to have a group of people cheering you on while watching you grow in your journey. There’s no competition to be the best, just everyone doing their thing in their own way. I also want to shoutout YMG Bree & DJ Jugg, for making this year’s homecoming at Mississippi State a memorable one. Bree reached out, and from there, it was a dream. I love being around other dj’s & watching them because there is always a learning moment. It’s where the magic happens. And lastly, I would like to shoutout all of those who have spread the word about DJ Q MAC via recommendations and reviews.
