Meet TD KASH | Artist/ Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with TD KASH and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi TD, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought of becoming a business/ Record Label owner started off as a what if. If I do this will this be successful for me, or if I were to do this will I put forward the effort to make this successful for me. As an independent rap, hiphop, r&b to Afro artists the scale to grow was basically a financial issue that had to be assisted. With the right searchings and mentors I have been able to strategize and successfully set up my business known as Takes Time Entertainment, LLC.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Today, I am at peace with the way I have developed over this short period of time. As of right now I focus on going forward rath than the things that tried to slow me down. I never quit on TD KASH i have always had the passion to keep going and growing with making quality music. The things that I will continue to be proud about is the success that I have accomplished on my time and not the world’s time. I will always be excited about how talented I am and I will protect that forever. Many different times in the music world I felt like I should just quit, but that moment only came from the times I spent focusing on things that brought me down instead of up. I had to gather everything that I’ve been through up and let it go so that I can teach myself from the times that I did get and how I was affected/ distracted seeing it first hand to later avoid it first hand.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out my business partner who goes by the name LOOSE. TD KASH and LOOSE have been good friends for over 4 years now, both have found a way to connect through music. I have been in business with LOOSE over 2 1/2 years now as we grow and entrepreneurs. We have been challenged many times yet we stood strong and build a bigger brand and established it. The hard work and dedication that he has is just as much the same dedication/ hard work that I have for myself. Shoutout to LOOSE.
