Meet Brandon Taylor | Head Coach/General Manager for Savages 7v7 football organization.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandon, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I think its the team I gave surrounded myself with. I have a great group of people who care about the success of our young athletes. They give their all and form solid relationships with the kids and the families that come along! Without my team this brand would not be where it is and for that reason I am forever grateful.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our program is dedicated to young athletes in the Mid- State area. We want to develop these kids on and off the field, while instilling great qualities in them along the way. We try to keep the main thing, “the main thing”. Meaning we are constantly focused on development. We take pride in the young men that represent our program because they return back to their schools and become better leaders, players, and representatives of their families. We have adversity like every other youth organization, but we choose to handle the problems head on. Some of the things we’ve learned are simple everyday life lessons. No matter what happens we must continue to move forward. Working together as a team, everybody plays their role, and keeping the goal the same. Our motto is “One Man, One Mind, One Mission”. This means that despite being a group of individuals we move as one unit. We all have the same mindset on and off the field. We all have one common goal. This is usually the formula for success and has helped us along the journey. We would like the city to recognize us and what we are trying to accomplish. This brand is for the kids, but also for professionals who want to hone in on their craft. Our network is vast and we have connected numerous people for personal or professionals relationships. Being a part of the Savage family comes with its perks, but the work is what keeps us relevant.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Our crew is very family oriented. We go to each others houses and have kickbacks and cook outs there. We have migrated away from the Nashville city life. We tend to hang out in outskirts of Nashville. Favorite food spots are Slim N Huskys, StrikeOut Wingz, and other local spots.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Rubyn Branch Radir Annoor
Jalen Marsalis
Canon Jackson
Michael Lacy
Jeremy Martin

Casey Scannell
